Embracing Your Genius
By Randy Gage
The philosophy of Any Rand, the politics of Senator Eugene McCarthy and the comedy of Richard Pryor all had something in common. Their talents came from their intellectual genius.
The music of Prince, Michael Jackson, and Ray Charles comes from another kind of genius. Writers like J. K. Rowling, Agatha Christie and Ernest Hemingway also used a similar but different creative genius.
Christian Ronaldo on a soccer pitch, Albert Pujols on a baseball diamond or Dwyane Wade on a basketball court display genius of an entirely different variety. The point is, everyone has genius in their own way. The biggest step to unleashing it, is actually embracing it. Many people downplay their genius to fit in. They think it’s modesty, or they’re afraid to show up others. Nothing could be sadder.
For certain you are a genius in something. Do you know what it is? And do you embrace, celebrate and nurture your genius?

P.S. Just landed a short while ago in Bucharest, Romania. Quite the place! It’s the start of an EU tour. I’ll try and get a Rant out about the trip during the week.
