Don’t Be an Idiot!

By Randy Gage

Well we’ve been talking about books a lot lately, and you guys have come up with some great ones that have impacted your life.  Now there’s a new one out that you should know about.

It’s from my friend Larry “Wild Man” Winget, the pit bull of personal development.  It’s called “People are Idiots, and I Can Prove It! The 10 Ways You Are Sabotaging Yourself and How You Can Overcome Them” I’ve been reading an advance copy and just loving it.  Grab it here.

Don’t let the title scare you off.  Like me, Larry likes to use titles that create buzz and help publicity.  The sub-title tells you all you need to know.  It’s an insightful look at the ways we sometime sabotage our own success, and what we can do about it.

Larry is blunt and to the point, getting to the essence of what it takes to really break through and achieve the results you want.  He takes on business, family, health, being fat, being stupid, success, money, and more, and tells you step-by-step what you have to do to change.  You may be a little uncomfortable in some sections, but you’ll be really glad you read the book by the time you finish.

Also, he’s offering a special to celebrate the launch.  Buy the book this week then go to his site and show the receipt, and he’ll send you another book free.  You’ll see how to do this on his site here:

Get the book.  It’s a fun read, it will hit you upside the head a little, and it will help you create more happiness for yourself.

I read Larry Winget other books: “Shut up, stop whining and get a life” and also “You’re broke because you want to be”. This guy is like you Randy, amazing. He makes people cry (not that they don’t deserve it). He shows people to get back on track and fast. I am sure that I am going to get is new book.

Ну, у Вас и юмор, в Америке! “Ирина, вы идиот!:-)”
Уверена, что после коментариев, мне книга понравиться. Ваших книг много издано на русском языке. Последняя существует на русском, или нет

That was funny and even frightening to find an email from someone in my Outlook early in the morning with the subject “Don’t Be an Idiot!” :)

Seth’s blog subscription usually starts with “Seth’s Blog :…”

But that was refreshing.

Randy,
Thanks for the heads-up on Larry’s new book. I really didn’t intend to buy it, but got so involved just browsing through the chapters at B&N that I just had to get it.
Between the two of you, I WILL get rid of this scarcity mentality.
And I loved the honesty on your spending last year. I actually printed that paragraph onto a small card so that I can read it often and aim for the same kind of “treats” and prosperity! It is hard to imagine that kind of wealth if you’ve never been anywhere near it, so reading things like this make visualizing being rich a little easier.
Thanks for your wisdom, insights and above all, your courage to step out from the herd.
There are many like me who appreciate it greatly.
Jacqui
