On a moment-to-moment basis, happiness = reality – expectations. Paths of value rarely reflect feel-good reality all the time. If the expectation is that there will be no dips, happiness is sure to plummet. Like a pianist watching his fingers, the ‘music’ will not be in flow if one examines results too closely or expects long-term results too soon. A longer view sees the correctness of the path as a positive contributor to the current reality and keeps moment-to-moment expectations flexible.

I am choosing to stay happily in a state of “divine dissatisfaction”.

I am driven, enjoying the journey but never settling for my current station in life. I deserve more, I will have more, and when the time comes for it to manifest, it will… and in a BIG way!

Thats right,because in our country you will see kids despite poverty they still have those smiles. I think happiness is really a choice.Just as our reaction to experiences in life.

Yes, happiness is a choice. Happiness is a Choice, written by Barry Neil Kaufman. I bought that book many years ago. I just pulled it out a few weeks ago, as we are surrounded by so many negatives.

It is amazing how we become who we are and how just the little things in life can make me happy.

Each day is a new beginning, and we can make a choice.

Do I want to be happy today or miserable??? :-)

I the happiest woman – love grant me success, at me mum whom 78 years, nearby the clear head-daughter of 12 years, the husband somewhere in Africa on long business trip earns money, I the grandmother-holiday because the oldest daughter with favourite grand daughters lives far is live and healthy, I have possibility to be engaged in favourite business, I always have money, and thank God that the toilet is not hammered by belongings, and functions on the mission.

I chose to be happy now and be even more happier when I achive something great and get in return all the best stuff you described.
The more I can create wealth the more happy I become !!!
Note: CREATING is not the same as GETING it from somewhere or someone.
The things that I didn’t earn will not make me happier.

Again, another life paradox.

Thanks for posting this Randy. I couldn’t agree more with your premise. It works for me everyday. I’m a good example. I have a really good paying job by most standards but I’m not really all that happy with it. I’m in the process of taking action to change that. Therefore, I choose happiness. YES!

We as people have been groomed to think that if you had money you would be happy – I have been on both sides of the coin and found me on both sides. If you are not happy with little you will not be happy with lots – start today working on being happy and content and see what happens in your life.

it’s wonderfull, I read your today note in a day that I was unhappy because of something usual in my team. I was sad because one of my directs told me that working in investment network plan is against my religon beliefs and I dont know what can I say to him, so I become abit disappointed of achieve to my goals. after reading your note I understood that if you wanna be happy in rest of your life you should be happy now even in hardness. I try to believe that THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
