Another thought...

While I was at lunch, watching the leaves of the trees shimmer in the sunlight as a breeze moved through them, I had an epiphany.

Suppose for a moment that YOU, the reader of Randy's Blog, did NOT have lack or limitation in your conscience. Would Randy (or anyone else) be able to sell you ANYTHING? Would you ever attend a seminar to "correct your thinking/mindset"? Would you even read this Blog about Prosperity? In other words, as soon as you realize that you no longer "lack" anything, it becomes next to impossible to sell you something (even an idea) that will "help". All marketers need you to believe that you're NOT okay just as you are. Of all people, don't you find it ironic that a "prosperity" marketer talks poorly about "lack"...the ONE thing they need you to believe in as the truth prior to being able to sell you something that will "correct the problem?" (Don’t think for a second all this talk about lack isn’t by design…it puts your focus on, yep, you guessed it…LACK!...a problem they conveniently have a pre-packaged answer to)

This begs the question, exactly who's definition of Prosperity do you CHOOSE to adhere to? What if (and this is a big "what if"), what if you made up your own definition of Prosperity?!! What if you used absolutely NO outside input (especially that of a sales or marketing person) to arrive at this definition and it was catered to precisely how YOU felt and thought? What if you defined prosperity in a way that your life was the epitome of prosperity RIGHT NOW, just like it is?

How could a movie, a book, a seminar, the news or a blog do anything to make you question your own inherent, natural prosperity?

The answer...because you let it.

You want to be prosperous?…stop allowing others to plant the idea in your mind that you’re not already.
(regardless of whether or not “the planter” is identified as the good guy or the bad guy).

One commenter said that "lack" isn't what they got out of the movite Avatar. Kudos! I agree that there is sometimes (most likely, usually) a huge chasm between the message a "thing" is DESIGNED to give versus the message one TAKES from it.

What separates humans from "reactive" species is our ability to decide.

So my question to Randy is, "If indeed Avatar (and many other chunks of media) are DESIGNED to program lack into your consciousness...AND...the "lack" is what you see when you view this movie, then isn't your focus on the "lack" message EXACTLY how they wanted you to react?!?

What if instead, you saw this thing that was DESIGNED to get you focused on "lack and limitation" but instead what you TOOK from it was something beautiful and impressive...have they done their job of programming you in that case? I think not. Kudos to those who see the beauty....even in the things designed to be"ugly."

Hey Randy, great stuff as usual. Success or poverty, are matters of choice. Simple.

Remember I gave you a shout out on twitter about how filled with lack programming Avatar was? I could basically see all the memes, designed to evoke emotion in watchers....and the main hero being in a wheelchair, and having doubt issues about himself...hmmm...memes, memes, memes!!

And as for John Grisham I had to stop reading one of his novels half way.

Why? The lack programming was dripping off each page.
The heroes of the story: two poor lawyers who eat macaroni and cheese, and have to sell all they have to fight the bad guys.
The bad guy is a billionaire. And hes been dumping chemical waste into the water table of the city, poisoning people, and people are dying of cancer.
When grisham describes a scene where a woman lost her kids and husband to the injustice...if you weren't on guard, you'd have experienced emotions of anger, rage, and all sorts against the villian...and of course you know how the subconscious works..

I couldn't finish reading it.

Looking forward to your avatar video...lets see if we both saw the same thing ;-)

What do you think of this latest article: http://tinyurl.com/ya6qk6o (Lady who lived frugally leaves $7 million to alma mater). It relates somewhat to the post.

At the moment I am reading "Matter", on of Iain M. Banks Culture novels.
I think the whole culture setting that Mr. Banks has created si a very solid expression of Prosperity conciousness. It describes an entire universe where anybody can have anything they want, since manufacturing and technology has advanced to the point where most things have a cost that is so close to zero, that they do not have money, since there would be no point.
A better known prosperity conciousness setting is Star Trek. Science fiction is very often (though not always) very prosperity concious.
